Important Information for Customers
Under UK consumer law, you have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days of signing without giving any reason.
However, you may also ask us to begin work before the end of that 14-day period. If you choose to do so, please read and sign the declaration below.
Customer Declaration — Start Work Early
I request that Arctic Insulation Ltd begins the agreed work before my 14-day cooling-off period has ended.
I understand and agree that:
- ✓I still have the right to cancel until the work actually starts.
- ✓If I cancel after work has begun but before it is completed, I will pay for the work carried out up to the point of cancellation.
- ✓If the installation is fully completed within the 14-day cooling-off period, I will lose my right to cancel and will owe the full contract price.
- ✓I have read and understood the Cancellation Rights information provided to me.

Your Consumer Rights
Standard 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
This waiver is only required if you wish to request that work begins before your 14-day cooling-off period expires.
When You Might Need This Waiver
You may wish to sign a 14-day waiver if:
- You want installation to begin immediately or within your 14-day cooling-off period
- Weather conditions are favorable and you want to take advantage of good weather
- You have urgent insulation needs that require immediate attention
- You have fully considered your decision and are ready to proceed
💡 Remember
Signing this waiver is completely optional. You are under no obligation to start work within the 14-day cooling-off period, and we will never pressure you to sign.
What Happens When You Sign the Waiver
✅ Before Work Begins
You still retain your full right to cancel without any charges or penalties, even if you've signed the waiver.
⚙️ Once Work Starts
You may still cancel, but you will be required to pay for work already completed and materials supplied up to the point of cancellation.
✔️ After Work is Completed
If installation is finished during the 14-day period, your right to cancel ends and you are liable for the full agreed cost.
